Tristan is a magazine writer and the former senior editor at a magazine for physicians called the Medical Post. There he wrote about politics, medical ethics, books, technology, and a range of other professional issues he can't quite categorize.
His byline has also appeared in Beside, Pacific Standard, This, Sharp, the Bay Street Bull, and others. He's written about quantum computers, pyramid schemes, cults, cities of the future, and social engineering. In other essays and features he's written about rodeos, surfing, and boxing. In 2019, he won two silver business-to-business National Magazine Awards for features he wrote in the Medical Post, which was also nominated for magazine of the year. The same year, one of his stories was also nominated for a SABEW award. In 2016, he won silver at the Canadian Business Media Awards for best news coverage. He graduated with high honours from Carleton University's journalism program in 2013. |
